Fees & REbates

Individual Sessions (Face to Face):

$190 - 50 minute Psychological Session (with a Mental Health Care Plan the out of pocket cost is $101.75 per session). Payment for sessions is required on the day of service via Pin Payments (Credit Card).

Individual Telehealth Sessions and Phone-Based Sessions:

These have been released from 30/03/2020 in response to the COVID-19 crisis. If you would a like a telehealth appointment, the rates are the same as face to face sessions.

Cancellation Fees:

A 100% CANCELLATION FEE will be charged if less than 24 hours notice cancellation is given. Late cancellations result in income lost and also mean that other clients have lost the opportunity for an appointment. There are no Medicare reimbursements for cancellation fees charged. 

Medicare:

A Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from a Medical Practitioner directed to ‘Natalie Butyn’ or ‘A New Way Psychology’ can offer up to 10 individual Mental Health Treatment Plan sessions per calendar year. Due to COVID-19, up to 10 Additional Psychological Sessions can also be accessed.

Private Health Insurance:

Check with your insurer for rebate details. If you do wish to claim through your private health insurance, a receipt will provided so that you can claim.

Reports & Assessments:
Please contact us for further information. Reports and assessments incur different fees on a case by case basis and generally cannot be reimbursed through Medicare.
